GENERAL
FREQUENTLY ASKED
What should I expect in my first class?
Focused coaching, high energy, and zero judgment. We start with the basics to ensure your technique is solid from round one.
Is it for beginners?
Absolutely. Most members start from scratch. All our classes are suitable for beginners, as the coach will modify them for you.
Who is the gym for?
Busy Londoners seeking real results, a strong community, and expert coaching that cuts through the noise of standard fitness. We are located in a quiet mews away from the hustle and bustle, allowing us to concentrate more.
What should I wear?
Comfortable gym gear and trainers. Avoid anything too baggy that might get caught. Bring a water bottle and a towel—you're going to sweat!
How fit do I need to be?
Not at all. You train to get fit, not get fit to train. Our coaches scale every workout to your current ability while pushing you to improve.
How often should I train?
Consistency is key. We recommend 2-3 sessions a week to see steady progress in your fitness, strength, and boxing technique.
Do I need boxing experience?
None required. We love beginners! We’ll teach you the fundamentals of footwork and punching from your very first bell.
Is there parking or bike storage?
The beauty of 8 Rounds Boxing Gym is that there are plenty of parking spaces nearby, so you won't have any problems parking.
Can friends join the same class?
Yes! Training with friends is a great motivator. Just make sure you both book into the same session via the app in advance.

Safety first—no entry once the warm-up ends (approx 5 mins into class). Being late risks injury and disrupts the session. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before the bell.
